How do they afford it? What has changed? In the past, they fabricated their money through hustling pool and credit card scams. Are they nevertheless doing that now? In addition to the bunker being a permanent location for the boys to stay, maybe the bunker had some hidden money in it. Perhaps when the brothers were searching it equally they moved in, they found a safe. Or they institute some information to stocks or bank accounts that the Men of Letters had access to, that sabbatum and earned involvement for the years after Abaddon wiped them out.
And at present, Sam and Dean have access to all these financial resources, along with non needing to stay in motels every dark. Now, they don't need to hustle and con their manner into earning money to alive. They can but use the Men of Messages coin.
